ഒരു പുഷ്പത്തിനെന്നപോൽ
ജീവിതത്തിനും ജലം വേണം.
സന്തോഷസന്താപശ്രുക്കൾ
അതു പൂർണ്ണമാക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ .

ഒരു പുഷ്പത്തിനെന്നപോൽ
ജീവിതത്തിനും വെളിച്ചമാവശ്യം
ശ്വാസം നിലനിർത്തുവാൻ
സന്തോഷമവസരമേകുന്നല്ലോ.

ഒരു പുഷ്പത്തിനെന്നപോൽ
ജീവിതത്തിനും തിരിച്ചറിവു വേണം.
പ്രണയത്തിനതിൻ ഊഷ്മളത
തിരിച്ചറിയാൻ കഴിയുന്നപോൽ.

വെള്ളം വെളിച്ചം പ്രണയമവയൊ-
ന്നൊന്നിനോട് പൂരകമെന്നപോൽ '
വേണമീയുലകിൽ ജീവിതത്തിൽ
നമ്മൾ തൻ സ്വപ്‌നം പൂവണിഞ്ഞീടുവാൻ.

Just like a flower

Just like a flower, life needs water to grow;
Tears of sadness and joy complete it's worthiness.

Just like a flower, life needs light to be,
Happiness gives a chance to breath.

Just like a flower, life needs understanding ,
For love is the ability to feel.

But neither water,light nor love are ever successful without the other,
So life needs all three to be what makes our dreams come true.
